US sets up missile defence in South Korea

The South Korean government on Wednesday announced that the US had installed a missile defense system in the key regions of South Korea. According to reports, the US had set up its Terminal High-Altitude Area Defence system popularly known as THAAD in the South Korea. Notably, the news comes a day after North Korea conducted live-fire artillery drills to celebrate the 85th anniversary of its Korean People's Army.
