The United States Consulate in Chennai has reportedly suspended its appointments, on Monday, for Visa applicants and the US citizens in India. According to reports, the Consulate, in a statement, also announced that it would function on Monday with a reduced staffing. Notably, the Consulate has advised the US citizens in India to review their personal security plans and remain aware of their surroundings.
