The International Court of Justice on Wednesday announced that it would conduct public hearings over the death sentence of former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav. This comes after the UN court stayed Jadhav's death penalty which had been handed by a Pakistani military court. Notably, India has claimed that Pakistan had abducted Jadhav from Iran and falsely accused him of spying for India.
