The deputy head of a Russian upper house committee Frants Klintsevich has reportedly said, “the UK, which doesn’t have vast territory, will be literally wiped off from the face of the earth with a counterstrike”. Klintsevich’s comment comes after UK’s Defense Minister Michael Fallon said the UK could launch a preemptive nuclear strike “in the most extreme circumstances”.
