Amit Singhal, the Senior Vice President of Engineering in Uber Technologies has reportedly been asked to step down from his post over a sexual harassment allegation. According to reports, Uber’s move comes after the company came to know that Singhal had left his job at Google following a sexual harassment complaint. Notably, Singhal was born in Uttar Pradesh and was hired by Uber in January 2017.
