Online transportation company Uber has launched a new service ‘UberHire’ which will allow customers to hire a taxi for up to 12 hours. The base fare ranges between Rs.449 - 649 for 2 hours and up to 30 km and will be charged Rs.2/min and Rs.12/km after the initial hour and distance. UberHire works on only cash payments and has been launched in nine major cities in the country which includes Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Pune, and Vishakhapatnam.
