Uber Technologies Inc has fired Anthony Levandowski, who was hired to lead its self-driving unit after he allegedly failed to comply with a court order to hand over documents at the centre of a legal dispute between Uber and Alphabet Inc's Waymo unit. Levandowski formerly worked for Alphabet's Waymo self-driving division, which says he stole trade secrets by downloading more than 14,000 documents before he left.
