Two Tamil Nadu women in a separate incident approached bank officials on Friday to deposit their demonetized notes. Both the women had not heard of demonetization until recently. The bank officials have reportedly written a letter to the Reserve Bank of India seeking advise on this matter. Noticeably, earlier this week Supreme Court has also questioned the government about not allowing the deposit of banned notes.
