According to reports, at least two people were killed after an accident took place in a fireworks factory near Sattur in Virudhunagar. Reports also suggest that many others were also injured in the accident in Elayirampannai near Sattur. Notably, in December last year, four workers, including three women were killed in a fireworks unit accident in Sattur.
