According to reports, rebel AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam has said that the new symbol of his faction 'twin-lights' represents former Tamil Nadu CMs M G Ramachandran and Jayalalithaa. Notably, his remarks come a day ahead of the announcement of the final list of poll candidates for R K Nagar bypoll. His faction named ‘AIADMK Puratchi Thalaivi Amma’ was allotted ‘electric pole’ symbol after the Election Commission freezed the ‘twin-leaf’ symbol.
