US President Donald Trump has proposed to impose a 20% import tax on Mexican goods to pay for the wall along the southern border, the White House reportedly said on Thursday. In the wake of his proposal, Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto abruptly cancelled his trip to Washington next week. Notably, the cross-border trade between the US and Mexico per day is worth $1.6 billion.
