Truck drivers go on indefinite strike, May lead to price hike of goods

Goods vehicle owners across states have reportedly started an indefinite strike on Saturday. The Protest has been called against the sharp increase in third-party insurance premium. The strike will have an impact in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Tripura, Bihar, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka and is likely to disrupt the supplies of commodities which could lead to a hike in prices of essential goods in other states as well.
