According to reports, Prabhakaran, 28-year prison guard was arrested in Vaniyambadi. Prabhakaran was reportedly arrested for helping the prison inmates in plotting robberies. The warden had started planning robberies after he became acquainted with some prisoners who were robbers and burglars, the police said. Notably, this case emerged out after Tirupattur police inspector Sreedharan got a clue about the robbery.
