Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Tuesday reportedly issued orders that the reservation for differently-abled persons has been increased to four percent from the existing three percent as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. While four per cent will be applicable for differently-abled persons, he said one per cent will be for persons with disabilities like visual or hearing impairment or those suffering from autism or mental illness.
