Tamil Nadu food minister R Kamaraj on Tuesday accused former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam for the "hitches" in the special public distribution system. The minister said Pannerselvam did not extend the system after it ended on December 2016. The minister's response comes a day after opposition DMK held a state-wide protest against the public distribution system outlets.
