TN Finance Minister Jayakumar on Thursday asserted that the financial year credit limit for 2017-18 has been set to Rs 41,965 crore. Jayakumar also announced that Rs 3,042 crore from world bank will be used for conservation of water bodies, including the allotment of Rs 300 crore for Tamirabarani-Nambiyaaru river linking project. Further, he added that Rs .4,791 crore has been allocated for Water Resources across the state.
