Police are on a hunt for the boyfriend after a 19-year-old woman was on Tuesday found dead in a lodge at Thirunageswaram in Thanjavur district. V Subash Chandra Bose, a 32-year-old man, was suspected to have raped and murdered the woman. The employees of the lodge opened the room after the couple didn’t come for breakfast or lunch and the room remained locked. They found the woman lying dead on the bed with injuries all over the body. The woman had been stabbed repeatedly with a broken CFL bulb, police said.
