TK Rajendran has been extended as Tamil Nadu DGP for another two years by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Despite being named in ‘Gutka scam’. TN Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami signed the file recommending TK Rajendran for the top post and sent it to the Governor on Friday. Notably, Rajendran is supposed to retire on Friday, but he will hold the office till 2019.
