RSS ideologue and the newly-appointed editor-in-chief of the Thuglak magazine, Swaminathan Gurumurthy, has reportedly urged actor Rajinikanth to join politics. Speaking at the magazine’s 47th anniversary and annual conclave, Gurumurthy said, "Rajinikanth won't enter politics just because I want him to. He should take the decision himself. People who will do good for Tamil Nadu should join politics." Further, he went to mention that how Thuglak’s late editor and former Rajya Sabha MP Cho Ramaswamy had also urged Rajinikanth to enter politics.
