According to reports, thousands of students across Tamil Nadu have abandoned their classes to join the pro-Jallikattu protests. Many of the students have reportedly abandoned exams and joined the protests. Students had also worn black dresses as a sign of protest against PETA. The students along with other protesters have demanded to conduct Jallikattu and ban animal rights organisation PETA.
