12 coaches of 16347 Thiruvananthapuram- Mangalore Express train was reportedly derailed at 2.30 AM on Sunday. The incident took place at Karukutty in Ernakulam district and no injuries were reported. The repair works are expected to be completed in 10 hours while cause for the incident has not been found, reportedly said a Southern Railway spokesperson.
