According to a report by Fortune magazine, the manufacturing cost of an Oscar statuette costs approximately $1,000, as revealed by Hollywood journalist Tom O'Neil. Interestingly, the estimated amount of money spent by Hollywood studios to promote Oscar-nominated films is $100 million every year. Meanwhile, O’Neil also added that the nominated films tend to earn more money once they win an Oscar.
