A 15-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, raped and sold to a person in Delhi. According to reports, the victim who travelled from Chhattisgarh in October had boarded a wrong train and reached Delhi, where a water bottle vendor allegedly raped her with the help of his wife. Further, the couple sold the girl for a sum of Rs. 70,000. Notably, the teenager was rescued by the Delhi Commission for Women from an area near Humayun's Tomb on Thursday. Meanwhile, the police have arrested two people in connection with the girl’s rape and trafficking.
