Popular video streaming platform YouTube suffered a massive global outage, with multiple users reporting issues on Wednesday morning. Users across the world were confronted with an 'Error 500' message when they tried to login, upload, or watch content.
The Google-owned video streaming platform remained inaccessible for over 30 minutes and social media platforms were flooded with complaints from users. With the barrage of complaints, YouTube soon issued a statement, apologising to people.
“Thanks for your reports about YouTube, YouTube TV and YouTube Music access issues. We’re working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated.”
