A Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone reportedly exploded inside a shop in Bengaluru. While a shopkeeper was seen trying to insert the SIM into a customer's Redmi Note 4, it caught fire after an explosion. "At Xiaomi, customer safety is of utmost importance to us. We have reached out to the customer to investigate this matter, and are awaiting further response", Xiaomi responded.
