One of the best things we had in the 90s was the Walkman. The love for music was fuelled by various things through different generations spanning from radios to TV to iPod. For those who lived the 90s, Walkman was the best.
With no smart phones or major technology, we were happy with our game boy and Walkman showing off the funk.
As the life changed, Walkman went from cassettes to CD to card adjusting to the development the world had.
For their 40th anniversary, Sony decided to revive the Walkman which they discontinued in 2012, 33 years after it was first released.
Walkman is upgraded with a pair of “models powered by a version of the Android OS and bearing smartphone-like audio features." It has 26 hours battery life and expandable memory. According to Gizmodo, this special edition Walkman will go on sale for Rs 42,499 in Australia and Rs 35,046 in Europe in December.
