The application Sarahah has witnessed almost 18 million downloads already. Reportedly, the application requires access from the owners to their contact list before using the application. According to a research study by Bishop Fox, the app collects information from user's phone book and saves contact and emails in their server without the user's knowledge. Reportedly the app creator of Sarahah on twitter said that the team is working on new feature by adding options of 'Find Friends' and it is delayed due to a technical glitch.
It was delayed due to a technical issue. The database doesn't currently host contacts and the data request will be removed on next update.
