This popular smartphone accused of collecting private data from users

According to reports, Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus is collecting sensitive private data like IMEI numbers, mobile network names and IMSI prefixes, MAC addresses, and more from its uses without user permission. OnePlus, in a statement admitted to collecting data, and said the company does so to enhance its software based on user behavior and provide better after-sales support.
