NEW APP LETS USERS SEE DELETED WHATSAPP MESSAGES

WhatsRemoved, an Android app, allows users to read WhatsApp messages that are deleted by the sender. According to newsbytes, the app keeps a tab on WhatsApp messages through the smartphone's notification system. In order to intercept and retrieve deleted texts with the app, the users have to enable notification alerts for all WhatsApp chats.

Reportedly, the app essentially reads the smartphone’s notifications and copies incoming WhatsApp messages. Since the app copies the message from the notifications, user of the WhatsRemoved app can read messages even after the sender deletes it.

Earlier, Facebook-owned WhatsApp released the feature to delete the messages which were mistakenly sent. Once deleted, the receiver cannot read the message.
