Mark Zuckerberg, Chairman of the Meta Group, has announced that he will soon begin selling NFTs on Instagram, a popular social media site.
Operating under the leadership of the Meta Group, Instagram is being used by millions of people around the world. Mark, the chairman of the Meta Group, has announced that he will be selling a Non-Fungible Token called NFT in this photo-video sharing application.
Non Fungible Token
NFT is currently the most talked about topic in the Internet world. Non-fungible tokens are cryptographic assets on a blockchain with unique identification codes and metadata that distinguish them from each other. Unlike cryptocurrencies, they cannot be traded or exchanged at equivalency.

Commenting on this, Mark said, "We are working on bringing NFTs to Instagram in the near term. I’m not ready to announce exactly what that’s going to be today, but, over the next several months, the ability to bring some of your NFTs in, and hopefully over time be able to mint things within that environment."
Recently Twitter management allowed some of its customers to post NFT photos as profile picture. Similarly, Make My Trip, an Indian travel booking agency, said that customers can make travel bookings through their NFTs.
Mark Zuckerberg, the company's chairman, has said that NFTs can also be sold on the popular social networking site Instagram.
