According to reports, automobile giant Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Tuesday unveiled India’s first ever driverless tractor developed at the company’s facility in Chennai. The tractor, coupled with ‘DiGiSENSE’ technology, would reportedly be available commercially from next year. The tractor can auto-steer and is able to detect and avoid obstacles, say reports. It can also reportedly make automatic headland turns, automatic lift and drops and make emergency stops.
