FACEBOOK IS DEVELOPING A NEW FEATURE AND THAT MIGHT WORRY SOME USERS!

Facebook likes are seen as an important parameter to ascertain an individual’s popularity among others. But, the modern generation’s ‘The more likes your post gets, the more popular you are,’ idea might soon find its way out as the social networking site is trying to develop a feature that will hide like counts.

App researcher Jane Manchun Wong shared a post on Twitter captioning, “ Facebook is working to hide like counts too!” She also attached a couple of pictures in which conventional likes format “friend and number of people” is replaced by “friend and others.”

Instagram experimented with hiding like counts in some countries earlier this year and signs towards the move have been positive so far. While majority supported the change in connection with mental health, a considerable percentage said they worry whether their posts get enough likes or not.
