In the early 1960s, computers were inaccessible to the majority of people during which Larry Tesler made his entry into the computing world.
Tesler began his work in the silicon valley during the early computing days. His contributions have made great contributions to make the operations of personal computers simpler.
He was the man behind the invention of frequently used commands -"Cut", "Copy" and "Paste". Through his innovations, personal computers became simple to learn and use. Xerox, where Mr Tesler spent a part of his career paid tribute to him according to the BBC report.
"The inventor of cut/copy & paste, find & replace, and more, was former Xerox researcher Larry Tesler. Your workday is easier thanks to his revolutionary ideas," the company tweeted as per the report.
Larry Tesler studied at Stanford University in California. He was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1945. He died at the age of 74.
