Anand Mahindra, the Executive Chairman of Mahindra Group, on Thursday took to Twitter to tease the Jawa motorcycles, which are expected to pose a major threat to Royal Enfield. Earlier, Financial Express reported that the Jawa motorcycles will start production in July, out of their Pithampur facility in India.
The image tweeted by him read, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to ride in the rain.” Despite the common advice to ‘Dance in the rain..’, Mahindra wrote that ‘Jawa’s imminent resurrection’ led him to push this avatar of the quote.
Mahindra two-wheelers will model the bikes around the Jawa 250s of the past, suggest reports. Jawa 350 with two engine options - a 350cc twin-cylinder two-stroke and a 400cc four-stroke single cylinder - was launched last year in international markets.
We all know about the advice to ‘Dance in the rain..’ But with Jawa’s imminent resurrection you can’t blame me for pushing this avatar of the quote... https://t.co/JUGcprTLfE pic.twitter.com/lCBtX6fEQN
