iPhone 8 Plus user from Taiwan has reportedly claimed that her device split open while it was charging with the supplied cable and adaptor. According to reports, the user said the front panel bulged out and eventually lifted completely from the device five days after she bought it. Allegedly, the iPhone 8 Plus uses the same battery manufacturer, Amperex Technology Limited (ATL), as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Apple is reportedly investigating the matter.
