According to a report by Mashable, a new feature in the upcoming iOS 11 called the Auto Join is expected automatically disable weak WiFi networks and prevent them from connecting to users' iPhones. Notably, a similar feature has already been available on Samsung devices called Smart Network Switch, which switches to mobile data when a WiFi signal is weak. iOS 11 is expected to release later this year.
