HDFC BANK FACES ISSUES WITH NET-BANKING; REASON LISTED

Reportedly the HDFC Bank net-banking users have been unable to make transactions since Monday morning. Though it was considered as temporary glitch initially, the issue became bigger when it continued for more hours. HDFC ensured that the glitch would be rectified yesterday itself but it looks like the problem continues even today

With major transactions being done online, the network issue of one of the largest banking sectors has left the users troubled. A lot of people complained about the issue on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Reports also say that some of the companies that are partnered with HDFC could not able to pay their salaries to their employees.

In fact, HDFC suffered downtime in their next-generation mobile apps last year that pushed them to roll back to previous-generation mobile apps on Android and iOS.

HDFC Bank apologized for the delay on the official Twitter handle and said that the reason for the issue is "technical glitch" and their experts were working round the clock to fix it.

We apologise that the resolution of the technical glitch is taking more time than anticipated. Our experts are working round the clock. While some customers are able to transact using NetBanking and MobileBanking App, a few may still be facing intermittent issues. (1/2)
