Previously known as Android Q, Andriod 10 update has been rolled out by Google six months after its beta release. Initially, the MIUI10 update is made available for select pixel smartphones and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro. Earlier, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are among the few phones to first receive Andriod 10 beta update and the stable build will be released for these devices and other phones very soon.
The Andriod 10 update is equipped with advanced machine learning features and it will be compatible with new technologies like Foldables and 5G. As per Businesstoday, Google has built the Android 10 with an intention to provide exceptional user protection, transparency and control over data. It is said that close to 50 changes have been built to strengthen privacy and security settings.
In fact, users can customize their privacy settings based on their convenience which is provided with faster enhancements and accuracy. For instance, the location setting can be customized in such a way that it can be accessed only by selected applications, unlike the previous Android versions where location data will be shared to all the running applications. There is also an optimization to install successive Andriod updates where users don't have to reboot their phone after every update and it will be done in the background without altering the device functions.
In the past decade, Android has been the pioneer to successfully bring in advanced technologies like OLED displays, predictive typing, high density and large screens with edge-to-edge glass. Moving a step further, the Android 10 update has been designed to meet the next level technological advancement like foldable phone displays and 5G.
Followed by the advancements in Security & Privacy and Innovation, the Android 10 update also comes with a 'Digital Wellbeing' feature which allows users smartphone to function more effectively like silencing the background applications, thus providing focus to only the running apps.
