Facebook has reportedly launched its new app for children called ‘Messenger Kids’ despite facing heavy criticism for attempting to lure children into social media websites. Messenger Kids lets children less than 13 years of age chat with friends and family. It does not display any ads and lets parents approve who their children can chat with. The app is available on iOS and Android devices in the U.S.
