Oftentimes, we end up using online apps to have a track of our physical health and some of these apps ask us private questions to track our health better.
However, at least two menstruation-tracking apps, Maya and MIA Fem, reportedly shared intimate details of users' sexual health with Facebook and other entities, says Privacy International.
The Britain-based privacy watchdog says the information shared includes when the users last had sex, their moods, contraception, ovulation, etc.
The data was shared through Facebook Software Development Kit, which helps developers to create apps and track details. The apps started sharing date even before privacy policy was signed.
Facebook said that they are talking with both the apps to notify them of a possible violation of terms that prohibit sharing sensitive information.
