Google Pixel 4 has been facing some glitches recently in some of the features such as face unlock feature and not permitting to back up original quality photos. Now one of the GadgetsNow reports has revealed yet another glitch concerning the refresh rate display on the phone.
The 90Hz refresh rate display on the Pixel 4 seems to be not working if the brightness level appears below 75 per cent. i.e. Once the bright level decreases below 75 percentage, the refresh rate automatically decreases to 60 Hz.
Though Google might have done it to expand the battery life (2800mAh) of Pixel 4 smartphones, the feature seems to be lacking the capabilities of OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T phones that maintain 90Hz refresh rate (unless the user manually reduces to 60Hz) irrespective of the brightness levels.
The report also provides a solution for those who may have faced this issue on Google Pixel 4. The users are suggested to go to 'Delivery Options' menu and tick on the setting that is labelled 'Force 90Hz'. This process would retain the 90Hz refresh rate permanently.
