Apple on Thursday reportedly apologised to its customers for slowing down older versions of its iPhones with software updates. The company said in a statement that the aging batteries in the older iPhones contributed to the performance issues after a software update about a year ago. Reportedly, Apple is being sued for fraud and deception over the issue in several countries.
