Google has reportedly decided to release the next android version Android O for smart phones but they haven't let out what the O stands for. However the release of pixel 2 has not been let out by Google yet. The last android update Nougat has not been updated by 85% of smart phone users. This update to Android O is expected to have a better operating system.
Android O release scheduled for the week of 8/21, "most likely on the 21st itself."
