An organization in Australia, Tamil Associations in Victoria (TAV) is reportedly conducting a walkathon event to raise money for the farming community in Tamil Nadu. TAV has also planned to restore an irrigation canal for a length of 5.5 Km in Azhiyur Panchayat, Nagapattinam District which will help more than 700 families. The walkathon is set to happen on May 27 in Melbourne.
