The owner and manager of Yumlok hotel, Avinash Gupta, was arrested on Saturday in Bengaluru following the death of two persons while cleaning a clogged septic tank in the hotel. Reports say, the owner has been absconding since February 13, the day when the incident happened. Police have also arrested the hotel’s caretaker, a senior health inspector and a DHO of the Mahavedvpura zone for negligence which led to the death.
