YOUTH JUMPS FROM FOURTH FLOOR OF CHENNAI MALL

According to reports, a youth named Sabarinathan jumped from the fourth floor of a shopping mall in Vadapalani, Chennai. However, a private security guard named Devasagayam saved his life by catching him before he touched the floor. In the incident, Sabarinathan suffered bone fractures, while Devasagayam was hit in his leg.
Sabarinathan was staying in Poonamallee preparing for his engineering exams. Reports suggest that he had written in his Facebook post that he would commit suicide for the cause of farmers and their welfare and against the NEET medical entrance test. He reportedly wrote a 4-page letter detailing the reasons behind his decision to commit suicide.
The youth was admitted to a private hospital in Vadapalani and is receiving treatment. The security guard is receiving treatment from the ESI hospital in KK Nagar.
