Cricketer Yousuf Pathan on Tuesday released a statement about his suspension after he failed a doping test earlier in 2017. In his statement, Yousuf said that the prohibited substance for which he has been banned was detected in a medicine which he was consuming for a throat infection. Yusuf further thanked BCCI for allowing him to plead his case in a reasonable manner and added he would be more careful in the future.
