With the implementation of the elevated corridor project from Chennai airport to Chengalpattu (Toll plaza), the travel time to Chengalpattu from Chennai airport will reportedly be reduced by 1 hour. The detailed report will allegedly be sent to the CMDA for approval. The elevated corridor, proposed to be built on the GST road (NH 45) will be a 35 km stretch, on which a motorist can ride at a speed of 65 kmph, suggested reports.
