A 34-year-old software engineer - Swathi was reportedly found dead in a hotel room in St.Thomas Mount. Reportedly, police recovered two bottles of rum in the room one of which was in the trash can. Since there were no external injuries and there was no suicide note found, police suspect that she might have died of dehydration after consuming excess of alcohol. The woman, who was residing in Chrompet.
