Woman immolates self as police allegedly file false complaint against her family

In a shocking report by News Minute, a Virudhunagar woman immolated self after police allegedly filed a false case against her family. The family reportedly approached police to file case against a person who harassed the girl. But with the alleged help of a AIADMK member, the police failed to take any action due to which the girl immolated herself. The man kept harassing her even after the girl’s family complained about the man’s behaviour to his wife and mother. The woman has reportedly been admitted to Madurai GH with 60% burn injuries.
